Mee Siam Mai Hum

As the son of a very important person, his life was so protected that he could not venture outside all by himself without any body guards. One night we managed to get the body guards to sleep and we brought him out "to see the world". We brought him to a hawker food centre as he requested, because he had never eaten any hawker food before in his entire life. He had never eaten char kway teow, laksa, mee siam, and such other foods. So, we recommended that he try a plate of char kway teow, and he loved it. However, he did not like the taste of the xee hum. So, he left them behind in his empty plate. He would also like to try laksa and mee siam another day, but that another day never arrive. So, I think, up to today, his memory of outside food is only on the char kway teow. It is therefore, likely, when he said "mee siam mai hum", he was actually refering to kway teow mai hum!

That is just a fictitious story about a frog living in the well.
